Zebra is popular in electronic industry when in it comes to manufacturing of printers. One of their products is the plastic card printer. Plastic card printers are used in printing wide range of identification cards from membership cards to more secured cards such as credit cards.
Companies looking for a card printing system often review the Zebra card printer options because the brand is so well known and trusted. If a complete system is needed, the company may choose to review the Zebra bundled printer systems. These are complete turnkey systems that contain everything needed to begin their card printing job. The bundled solutions are geared toward smaller companies that need to customize cards for employee IDs.
The bundled systems are called the QuickCard bundle. They come with a choice of two printers. The Zebra P110i is a single sided printer while the other choice of printer is the dual sided printer, the Zebra P120i. Included in the package with the printer is ID card software, a web camera, 200 cards and a printer ribbon to print colorful designs on the included cards. By selecting the single or dual sided printer, the system is easy to select and allows for the quick system installation and printing of the first needed card.
Reasonable in cost, the QuickCard bundles are perfect for businesses who do not want to spend a large amount of money to begin immediate card printing. The badge software is designed to be used with Excel or CSV files to provide the database needed for the ID card custom fields. A stand alone camera can be used to take pictures and import them into the computer, or the included webcam will hook up to the computer and allow photos of members to be taken right at the ID card printing system setup.
Load-N-Go cartridges are easy to install by just sliding the card printer door open and placing the ribbon directly into the cartridge holder in the printer. No mess or fumbling with a loose ribbon that must be placed correctly onto spindles. The P110i and P120i both offer a full color ribbon and also a monochrome ribbon option. The monochrome ribbons are often used on preprinted cards where the card needs further customization that is completed with one print color. These ribbons are designed to indicate when they run low so that the card printing operator can anticipate when a new ribbon cartridge will need to be installed.
These card printers are used for many uses. Common purposes for plastic cards are employee and student IDs. Other uses are for gift cards, membership cards and discount cards, and debit cards as well as many more.
This bundle is small enough to sit on a desk and can also be transported to various events and shows for mobile use by people such as event planners. With the ability to print 120 colorful cards per hour, the printer bundles are perfect for basic, smaller card printing needs.
